Logan Hood

I’m Logan Hood, a UX/UI designer with a background in B2B sales. For over a decade, I focused on building relationships, solving problems, and most recently helping insurance & finance institutions meet their goals with competitive intelligence. Along the way, I learned how to listen, ask the right questions, and turn insights into solutions. These are the skills I now bring to my work as a designer and developer.

Now, I use those skills to create intuitive, user-centered designs that not only look great but drive results. I’m comfortable conducting user research, collaborating with stakeholders, and turning ideas into wireframes and prototypes. With a mix of business strategy and design thinking, I’m passionate about building experiences that make sense for both the user and the business.

Outside of design, I train jiu jitsu, which has taught me discipline, adaptability, and how to break down complex problems—skills I carry into my design work. I’m also deeply inspired by the rebellious spirit and DIY ethos of 1980s punk rock and skater culture, which fuels my creative process and shaped the design of my portfolio. When I’m not at my desk or on the mats, you’ll probably find me walking through the city or hiking up a trail while petting every dog I come across.
